Location

Situated in the picturesque village of Atherington, North Devon, there are lovely beaches just a short drive away, including the fantastic and popular Croyde Bay.

Lovers of the great outdoors may also want to head to Exmoor National Park, which is also within driving distance. Exmoor has some marvellous open moorland, along with some delightful walking and cycling routes. Pretty villages, such as Appledore, are also within reach, and the busy town of Barnstaple is only a 20 minute drive.

Village Setting

There is a local village shop and Post Office a very short walk away from the cottage. At the end of the garden there is also a village children's playground & outdoor tennis court, with an outstanding view of the beautiful Devon countryside.

Transport Options

We recommend arriving by car. Umberleigh train station - which is on the picturesque Tarka line running regularly from Exeter to Barnstable - is also only a 5 minute drive from Lemons Cottage.

Exeter Airport is just a one hour drive away, with links to London, other major UK and select European cities.
